The one serious challenge to becoming a forensic psychologists and rising to the top of the field is the need for extensive continuing education in two different fields. The fact is that someone can get a job as a forensic psychologist with a simple Bachelor´s Degree in psychology. With only that degree however they cannot expect much, if any, advancement in the field. To be successful in this field someone would also need to have degrees in Criminal Science and Law as well. A person with a Master´s in psychology, a Bachelor´s in Criminology with a minor in law will go very far as a forensic psychologist.
